SCHOOL UNIFORMS

Working with partner and social enterprise Arakele Fashion Design College (providing primarily underprivileged women with the skills to sew and design and linking them with jobs upon graduation) as well as producing pencil cases for school children, we also provide school uniforms for school children here in Ethiopia. Although there is a new government initiative which provides uniforms for government school students, many parents prefer to send children to small private schools where classes are smaller but it is often a struggle for them to afford all the school essentials.
